The biggest hurdle with Facebook Ads is that it’s confusing. Bottom line.
If you don’t understand the platform, and the many ad options it’s difficult. As well it’s also not easy for people to understand the marketing process. Simply put you need to understand who your audience is, how to target them, what your ad should say and what you want to achieve.
There are different ad types which can help you get video views, increase direct messages, drive traffic to a website, get leads, sell products and more. Understanding what your overall goal is, that’s the first step.
Next you need to be clear on who your audience is. Crystal Clear.

You need to also be clear on what the value of a lead is. This helps you know if your making money at the end of the day. If you know what a lead or sale is worth, you will know what you can spend on advertising to at least break even, but the goal is to pay less on ads than it costs for your product/service.
Understanding this will help you figure out how much to spend, how to target, what your ads should say, how they should be setup.

The next hurdle is understanding how to monitor Facebook Ads to know if they are working and what to change or tweak to improve your results. This mainly comes with continually testing new variations.

Considering an Elopement style Wedding? Consider these 5 factors!

Albeit COVID-19 is the ‘New Normal,’ for all of us World wide many couples have decided that the life must go on. They’ve planned, they sacrificed and the time on their Marriage License is running out.Ā  But if you must run the risk of saying those two little words, ‘I Do,’ your not alone.Ā  The following five key points is how I consult my prospective Brides and Grooms.

Tip # 1.Ā  Cost savings.Ā  Cost savings is pretty much indicative of a smaller Wedding.Ā  Yes, you won’t be entertaining a hundred plus Guests at your Wedding but realistically, in the long run a great number of your Guests would most likely politely decline your Event in an respect.Ā  Better safe then sorry to say the least!

Tip # 2.Ā  Wedding Planning Anxiety.Ā  This seems to be a predominant concern with all Brides and Grooms during any Wedding planning process.Ā  How many meals do we need to plan?Ā  Would you like the beef, chicken or vegetarian dinner.Ā  Who is gonna sit next to whom.Ā  And how do we do our best to keep the In-laws and Outlaws separate at the evening Reception.Ā  Less personalities, less possibility of an already encapsulated Wedding going astray on your Big Day due to differing personalities.

Tip # 3.Ā  Shuck those Cultural norms.Ā  You know the ones.Ā  You may come from a certain ethnic background and your used to attending a three day Wedding.Ā  A five day Wedding or even a Week long wedding.Ā  Here is your chance to host a more private, intimate Wedding and Reception.Ā  Plus tying in nicely with the earlier mentioned cost saving measures.

    Tip # 4.Ā  Location, location… location!

Elopement Weddings Can Almost Be Held Everywhere!Ā  With both our local and Provincial Governments shutting down Wedding and Reception venues due to the ongoing COVID-19 concerns an Elopement Wedding can pretty much take place anywhere.Ā  A backyard, a local picturesque Park or even on a opportunistic rock outcropping along Georgian Bay can provide you with a suitable backdrop to embrace your Nuptials.Ā  If your Wedding Photographer is worth his salt, he or she will still be able to provide you with a beautiful experience that will last a lifetime.

Tip # 5.Ā  How Best To Allocate Or Budget Your Money.Ā Ā One says ‘yes,’ to a big Wedding – one says ‘no.’Ā  During these difficult times, this COVID reality might be the best time to plan your Wedding.

As the Toronto Wedding Industry is without a doubt over priced and under delivered in many aspects, now might be the perfect time to take the plunge.Ā  Toronto Wedding Service Vendors are literally bending over backwards to work.Ā  The deals are out there if you look and do a little research.Ā  Many Vendors (including myself) are offering ‘Split Wedding Photography Packages.’Ā  Where we could plan your Wedding Ceremony Shoot today but hold off with the party to a more favorable time.

In closing I’ve never met a Bride and Groom who didn’t want the BIG WEDDING.Ā  It’s understandable.Ā  But if you must and you just cannot wait for more favorable conditions these five above noted factors might help you navigate the New Normal.

    Hello Courtney,

Great question.Ā  Ā As an experienced Wedding Photographer in Toronto with 10 years service, I would love to shed some light on this.Ā  Ā I shall attempt to answer this question in three parts.Ā  Additionally I shall provide a Youtube link to your Readership to further address your question in depth.

Question:Ā  What should I look for in a good wedding photographer?

    A. Experience.Ā  Initially as you begin to research and investigate a Wedding Photography Service, you may wish to determine if this person or group of individuals are experienced.Ā  Ultimately, one would hope that a Wedding Photographer has shot more then one Wedding prior to your Wedding service inquiry.Ā  That they have a number of positive Google Reviews to substantiate their credibility.Ā  And last but not least, they have served within the multicultural tapestry of Toronto and the GTA as a whole for quite some time.

Now, not to discount new and emerging Photographer’s but this could be you Son or Daughter’s wedding so you want to choose wisely.Ā  There are no make up shoots or second chances at a Wedding.

B.Ā  Customer Service.Ā  As a great deal of Wedding Photographers are self employed in Ontario, great customer service is paramount and crucial to the success of their business and even more so on the day of your Son or Daughter’s Wedding.Ā  Toronto hosts a myriad of Nationalities that any good Photographer will be tasked with working within when retained for their Family’s Big Day.

C.Ā  Affordability.Ā  The third and perhaps the greatest consideration when booking your Wedding Photographer.Ā  We all have to work hard for our money.Ā  Long hours at work and a never ending mountain of bills that have to be paid.Ā  There just never seems to be enough money to go around.Ā  As such affordability is crucial.

Can your Wedding Photographer offer you an affordable payment plan?Ā  Can they offer you staged payments?Ā  Can they structure their payments when it works out best to a prospective Customer’s income cycle?Ā  Can they haggle on Package costs or alter a Wedding Package’s contents within reason.

A home inspection is an on-site, in-person examination of a home’s condition and structure. It is a visual inspection of major elements and systems, like the foundation, the electrical and plumbing systems, the attic ventilation and the roof.

A home inspection is not a pass or fail test. It doesn’t assess if a home meets zoning or building codes.

A home inspector will typically examine the:

    • foundation
    • doors and windows
    • roofĀ  (if they are able and it is safe to do so)
    • exterior walls
    • attics
    • plumbing and electrical systems (where visible)
    • heating and air conditioning systems
    • ceilings, walls and floors
    • insulation (where visible)
    • ventilation systems
    • drainage away from buildings, slopes and natural vegetation
    • overall assessment of structural integrity of the building(s)
    • common areas in a condominium

Home inspectors complete a report of the property’s condition, as they see it at the time of inspection. It will normally show:

    • the condition of every major system and component of the home
    • areas or parts of a home that are unsafe, need to be repaired or replaced, or may need Ā to be repaired or replaced in the near future
    • if something is not working properly, is unsafe, or needs to be changed
    • any evidence of past problems

After getting the results of a home inspection, a buyer may decide to:

    • ask the seller to make certain repairs
    • accept a defect and deal with its consequences
    • ask for a price adjustment
    • not buy the home

Some sellers may have an inspection done before selling a home. Although seeing a current inspection report can be helpful, buyers should have their own home inspection done too.

If you’re the homebuyer, make sure you’re there for the inspection. This gives you a chance to ask questions and see issues first hand.

You should also keep in mind that:

    • an inspector cannot see or find everything; for example, an inspector may not find mould or may not be able to inspect a roof that is covered with snow
    • an inspector does not provide warranties or guarantees on a home’s condition
    • inspectors are currently not required by law to have insurance coverage, however, many do have policies that can include general liability or errors-and-omissions coverage
    • home inspection fees range from $350 to $600 and may be higher, depending on the size and condition of the home
